Leith Conveyor 90/500 delivered to local farm in Wimmera
At a glanceConveyor
WH & JM Leith Engineering delivered a Leith 90/500 conveyor to a local farm in the Wimmera region of Victoria, providing a practical and efficient solution for moving grain and fertiliser on site.
The conveyor is 90 feet long and fitted with a 500mm wide belt running on trough rollers, allowing it to fill silos up to 40 feet high and outload directly into trucks. Designed for ease of operation, the unit is powered by a Cat 2.2 ECU diesel engine and features full hydraulic controls for the belt, lift, steering and wheel drive.
The self-propelled design allows the conveyor to be moved and operated easily from the control area, while the easy-clean hopper helps reduce the risk of grain contamination between loads. The machine is also fitted with brakes operated by linear actuators and lights for night work, making it a reliable and practical addition to day-to-day farm operations.
Built for strength, access and efficiency, this conveyor was designed to help simplify grain and fertiliser handling across the property.
