Back on the road: Rebuilding a No.9 Deluxe Contractor After the Fires
At a glanceRepairs; Comb Trailers
When bushfires swept through Carranballac at the start of the year, one of our customers lost more than just paddocks and fencing – their No.9 Deluxe Contractor trailer was caught in the fire and left badly burnt.
For a lot of operators, a trailer like this isn’t just equipment. It’s part of the daily work of the farm and losing it on top of everything else the fires took is a real blow.
The Rebuild
Our customer brought the trailer in to see what could be done. After a full assessment, our team stripped it back and rebuilt it from the ground up – replacing what the fire had taken and restoring it to the same standard as the day it left our workshop.
We replaced the turntable, wiring, mudflaps, brakesafe unit, springs, wheels while giving it a freshen up with blasting and painting.
If your equipment has taken a hit – whether from fire, an accident or just years of hard work – get in touch with us. We’ll take a look and talk you through your options.
